I'm faster than anyone else

Last week I was craving for a pizza. I even wanted to go to Shakey's after class just to satisfy my cravings but uh-oh time constraint. Last week was HELL WEEK papeworks and everything. It's driving me nuts whenever I still think of those days and how I survived  it.I'm glad my mom understands me she even bought some groceries  for me last week. 

So last week was hell week and I'm hungry... hungry for pizza! As I went home that night I'm planning to call Shakeys or Dominos. Hmmm. I'm torn. I cannot decide for myself. I asked my mom which is which she told me Dominos would be fine plus they have fast delivery service. I called up for Dominos and ordered their buy 1 take 1 promo, wherein buy 1 pizza and choose 1 any pizza flavor. It's a good offer though (price bundling). The crew told us it will be delivered to us shortly.

Tadaaa! Less than 30-minutes our pizza is now delivered. I really commend Dominos for their delivery expertise. It's what the consumers love about them. They also have tasteful pizza of course but they are now branded as fast delivery services. Good job Dominos! Knowing that we are meters away from their resto. 

Cravings satisfied although pizza from Shakey's is still the best 👍👍 but Domino's serves as a substitute for Shakey's as well. Shakey's has poor delivery services. They will assure you that food will be delivered less than 30 minutes but uh-oh failed. It will took them an hour and it's just so frustrating that you have to call them back for follow up. I really got dismayed that it actually happened to me. 

ILAR'S TAPSILOGAN

Today is the last day of our exams!!! Departmental isn't really nicest exam ever. Stressful, no sleep, toxicated with caffeine it's how I define our exam period. Since it's exam week we seldom hang out after class instead we spend our remaining time studying. We go to school and go straight to the library (favorite spot) Today is now the last day! We got plans eating after exams. We finished by 11 am and the usual “Saan tayo kakain? “questions. Lol. We have decided to eat at Ilar's just to try something new around UST. 

We went to Ilar's it is located at Lacson St. It's been a long time and I have noticed some changes. Huhu. The price of the food became more pricey before it was just around P50-60 plus an extra rice for free. 

We ordered Sisig and my other friend ordered Chicken Barbeque. Yummy!! We're famished and exhausted after deadly exam in Prod Ma. The food was delicious just enough to satiate your tummy. It's has extra rice for free it's worth  it for  P80 I guess? There's no harm in trying different eatery around UST, not just stick at vicinity of Dapitan. Too bad because most of their food now cost P60 and above. I still recommend it though to Tapsilog lovers since I know its their best-sellers. Ilar's staffs are somehow welcoming but most of them aren't approachable. 

My goal for this year to try different food around UST but at the same time keep my eye on saving money. It's really hard for me to save money when you ever wanted was just food. 

Nevertheless, NO. MORE EXAMS FOR NOW.

CHECKING YOU. TESTING YOU

Who here is familiar with Hi Precision Diagnostic Laboratory? This is laboratory that provides a top quality in providing healthcare to the customers. They have advance and well equipped machines that is really in need in our modern world. They also offer affordable prices for the patients. I  already have  an idea how they offer their services because it was recommended to me by my dentist. I was given a prescription to have an X-ray before putting my braces. 

Last Sunday, I accompanied my best friend for his medical check-up at Hi-Precision. I think there are procedures that need to be strictly followed. I was observing the place and the way they accommodate their customers. The place is clean and organized because you have to wait before your turn. They have an ticket number (you'll get it in the information counter) what was good thing about ticketing system is that they prioritized senior citizens and they have a different LCD for regular patients or customers. So when it was my friend's turn he went to the counter and fill up a necessary information (the purpose of the test, what are personal information) We waited again for another minute until he was called by the med rep. It took couple of hours for medical exam. 

I love the atmosphere of the laboratory compared to the other because I went to the New World Laboratory near our place they also have this kind of environment clean but not really organized. The med reps aren't approachable (probably they are too busy) They lack order way of following a procedures and can sometimes lead the patients to conflict. 

Whenever someone asks me where is a good laboratory services I would recommend them Hi Precision because it is trusted and they know how to deliver properly their services. 

TAKE ME ANYWHERE

What do you usually ride when you go to far places like Ortigas, Makati or Taguig? Are you having a hard time looking for a cab? Or even conscious about the price it will cost you far places? I guess there is a solution to everyone's problem now. The emerging trend of “Grab Taxi” and “Uber” is becoming a lifestyle now for everyone. It's easy access and convenient for everyone. 

I had experience riding both cab but let me share to my experience riding Uber. Last March 13 we stayed at Town and Country Exec. Village where my tita lived and we are about to go to St James for the funeral. So I first I check Grab Taxi if there are available cab near the place unfortunately there are none. My tita told me to check the other alternative which is Uber. I checked Uber and glad I found cab available that moment. My tita told me it's cheaper than Grab Taxi. I booked a cab from Town and Country Marcos Highway to Masinag Sumulong High way as drop off point. It's just the same process as Grab. You just have to turn on your GPS or location and you'll be able to track the driver's way to your pick up point.

 The good thing about Grab and Uber services is that they'll give you an information about the driver and the plate number of the car. It is also add up to the enhancing elements  of their service that fall under “safekeeping” to the customers. 

We are here to our destination. We paid P104 for the service not bad it's worth the ride since it's hot outside and this is actually hassle free. Now, I enjoyed riding Grab or Uber since they're both convenient just a book a way. It's impossible that this kind services won't get the lifestyle of the customer. I highly recommend this to everyone who wants easy access to transportation but still I'm fond of riding jeepneys since it's more TIPID. Hahahaha. 

PILGRIM

Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Manaoag

Last Feb 28, We went to Our Lady of Manaoag for our pilgrimage and serves as our time to reflect. It's a one day experience and time for us to be with God.

As per said by the admin, call time is 5 am and the departure time is 6 am. Oh my gosh! It's so early and my body clock isn't used to it anymore but yeah I have no choice. So I set my alarm to 4:30 and went to school at 5:30 am. We went inside the bus exactly 6 am and yet we're still waiting for some of our block mates. Finally! After a couple of minutes we are ready for departure. It's past 7 am when we departed UST. It had been a long trip for us that time. I took time enjoying the scenery 'til we had a stop over at NLEX.

Here we are. Now at Manaoag, Pangasinan! The excitement feels pounding on my heart. It has been years ago since I went here and I don't recall anything at the moment. 😊😊 We entered the place and was greeted by Our Lady of Manaoag. 

There are so many tourists visiting and strolling also. We lost our track about the activities that must be done that day. Haha. We are not aware that there is still on-going mass for the blessing of religious items we bought there.

We continue strolling and took pictures but it's not really enjoying to go around because the sun isn't friendly that time. Lol. We went to mass after we bought some religious items outside the church. I wonder why they kept nagging us buy their items and they are giving discounted prices. Hmm. I bought just three bracelets for Mama and Papa. We also bought some pasalubong. 

We went to the bus and ate our packed lunch. After which, went inside and listen to the speaker talking  about the “Pilgrimage to Manaoag” the message isn't delivered clearly due to technical difficulties. Well that a downside of the pilgrimage. We cannot create an intimate relationship with God because of the  noise we  are hearing. I can't find the real essence of this. Honestly speaking, I have high expectations for this since I came from a Catholic school for girls. We've been through this also and I can differentiate the preparation for this pilgrimage. You cannot actually find the true meaning why we had this. Based on my evaluation I think it would be better if they will let the students participate and be more involved that time like more of an interaction. My overall experience was good and I had more bonding time with and also I had time to talk to God and pray for my petitions to Our Lady of Manaoag.

We arrived at UST late 7pm due to heavy traffic. We are all hyperactive and had time for videoke. Hahaha. Really had good bonding time with  blockmates I was tired and in need of sleep but nevertheless I had a wonderdul experience.
