Transportation Problems.

What will you do if you've bought a ticket already in LRT then suddenly the train stopped working and then the authorities in lrt told you that no refund of ticket? Aren't you going to feel frustrated to them and to the government? This happened to me last week.

My parent's and I rode an LRT heading off to Antipolo it was the last trip of the train. We bought  3 tickets that cost us P75 so we waited for the train to start but the guard told us that it is not working! Oh my Gosh! Why now? Obviously we got frustrated because they told us to go down. What make us  even more mad when they did not allow us to return the ticket because of their NO REFUND POLICY. Why wouldn't they allow us to return the ticket when in fact we don't ride LRT more often. Our logic here is that what is the use of this? In lieu of this, they gave as a ticket that is valid for 5 days. I mean hello? We just rode an LRT because we need to get there immediately. The commuters were ranting to the authorities because of the no refund policy and they've just wasted their money. 

First and foremost I want this issue  be address to Abaya. Hello will you fix your inconsistent trains and long queue of people. Ticketing system is not the solution to the problem it is the train who have shortcomings. The government should have kept funds for this because the people are paying their taxes promptly. The current government should have at least spent their funds for transportation. They have raised well our economy but how about these minor problem that we encounter?How about us Filipino people who experienced this everyday. The commuters choose to ride an LRT because  it avoids them in traffic but now what instead of helping them it adds to their obstacles as commuters. I think the solution for this is to implement a strict coding law regarding this. The service that you are giving to the Filipino people isn't satisfying. Don't just focus on macro but might as well take a look in micro settings. The government is more focused on the external but how about the internal? I think it is more important that anything else.

To all the commuters, whenever you  encounter again like this don't hesitate to tell the authorities about this fight for what you think is right. We are in a democratic country we all the have the freedom to express our rights and beliefs because it our opinion and they don't care at all. I guess this is what should we promote in our country, the courage to fight for what we believe and to continuously support and uphold what is truly right in our country.

THE INTERNET SECTION

The Internet Section 

The internet section of the library is always helpful for student who needs an internet for school related purpose. The UST lib have provided students computer who needs an access to many things. I am library person since then. I go study in library during prelim exams, I go their for my resesrch and my favorite section is at Humanities because one of my friends is scholar. 

Library has always been part of my routine in studying. We go there study as a group, do our thesis, research for Euromonitor. It has been so helpful for us everytime my internet at home sucks, library computers always to the rescue. The use of internet is only for 1 or 2 hrs but thanks to my scholar friends at Humanities they let me use the computer for long hours. The process of using computer is easy. Here are the ways of using it: 

1. Ask the student at the porter if there are available computer.

2. If yes, surrender your id and log in.

3. Done! You can now use the computer! 

It's easy as that! You only need an I.D and that's it. There is no limitations in using the internet. The second floor of the Library is the internet section for all the students who doesn't need to go to the comp shop just the to use for the computers and pay for like P30 pesos 1 hr. Unlike in the library it is all free and paid beforehand. It is convenient for student and accessible anytime plus it is air conditioned. 

The service that it provides helps the student accomplish tasks inside the school. You don't have to go to computer shops and pay P30 for 1 hr and pressure yourself because UST lib have provided computer for students. Also, it is helpful whenever we need data or scholarly journals for research paper. You just need to have an account confirmed at Circulation then you can now freely use electronic resources at home as remote access. 

Students probably missed out the use of library but if we just just know its functionality we would truly appreciate it.

Yoh Froz Banawe

The Yogurt: Yoh Froz 

Have you tried eating yogurt with different toppings? It's like a DIY Yogurt you have lots of toppings to choose. Try now YOH FROZ located at Banawe. You would really love the spatial layout of the place and the ambiance it fits perfectly for students, young professionals. 

I went their just last week. I love the ambiance the color of the walls, the color of their symbols. It is color blue that can be associated to coldness "freeze" that is why it is "YOH FROZ". The place is perfect for studying, relaxing since it has couch. They also offer a time for you to play different kinds of game like UNO Cards, Board games and many more. I went there with my friends, I ordered Tuna sandwich with chips it's P150. Menu at Yoh Froz is quite expensive because their plain yogurt is P110 plus P10 each for every toppings. The reason probably why they only have few customers. The staff were friendly and nice to us that's why I love to stay there whenever I want to study an alternative for Starbucks. The place has also good wifi connection for customers who likes to enjoy the place to work. I have tried their yogurt my favorite was Yogurt with Kitkat and chocolate chips toppings. It's is "sulit" because it was full placed in the cup. They also have sandwiches and pasta as well. 

I went there just now only to find out the place wasn't that big anymore. They have relocated to another smaller place. It's just too sad because I'm used to go there since high school only to find out that they moved to a smaller place. It would be another impact for consumer it became a fast food chain "buy then stay for a while then get out of the place" since they cannot accommodate more customer at their new space. At least I have still experienced their good ambiance and a good service.
